- MUI is a set of shared libraries used by other programs (one big one, a
- number of little ones) which implement BOOPSI object classes. You can
- shut down all the programs using MUI, and then the library will either
- go away on its own when there is system memory pressure, or you can
- flush it explicitly using "avail flush". This should remove any trace
- of MUI from memory.

- I'm running it just fine under 3.0 (not 3.1), and I think it runs under
- older revs, just not as well. Some features don't work under 2.x. But
- don't take my word for this; I've never seen any reason to go from my 4
- year old OS to an even *older* one.
